Diffusing is one of the easiest ways to administer essential oils. Make sure that your pet can leave the area when they want.

Always make sure you use quality essential oils. Some oils have synthetic oils and fillers that are often unsafe and toxic. You should look for companies that work directly with the farmers. Allow your pet to self select the oil you will use. This is done by presenting the capped bottle to your pet. Observe your pet for subtle yes or no behaviors.

Remember, cats are fastidious about their appearance so if you have applied appropriately diluted oils to your pet ultimately they will ingest the oils that way. Therefore, there is no need to add oils to there food or water. This ultimately will cause the opposite effect and they will not eat or drink.
